At Kettering Medical Center, we offer the widest range of PET services in the region. As the first hospital in the area to provide PET technology to our patients, we continue to stay at leading edge of medical technology as part of our dedication to patient care and treatment.

Our PET center is staffed by board certified nuclear medicine physicians as well as Ph.D. physicists and radiochemists, radiopharmacists, highly trained technologists, and specialized nurses. Our staff possess well over a decade of experience with PET, which places us among the top four institutions in the entire country.

At Kettering Medical Center, we place great emphasis on research as well. Our PET department has been actively involved in both clinical and basic scientific research since 1990. Currently, research projects are underway in the field of cancer (brain, lung, prostate), cerebrovascular disease, epilepsy, and schizophrenia.
